Class Schedules

  1. Select Technology from the Academics menu on the HHS website (PowerSchool tab) or RAMS website (PowerSchool tab).
 
  1. Select Next Year Schedule from the left navigation menu.


Checking Grades and Attendance

 
  1. Select Technology from the Academics menu on the HHS website (PowerSchool tab) or RAMS website (PowerSchool tab).
     
  2. To see a complete list of all assignments and teacher comments, click on the grade itself (ex: B+), and the list of assignments and individual grades for the class will appear, and teacher comments are listed at the top by the course name. The same applies for attendance, just click on the number of absences. 
 

 

Grade Code Key

All final course grades regardless of the length of the course (term, semester etc.) are stored in F1

Checking Standards-Based Grades

 
  1. Some courses at HHS or RAMS use standards-based grading.  If no final grade appears in Quick Lookup under the Term, click the blue “i” to view standard scores.
 

 
  1. Select the “Standards Drawer(s)” on the next screen to view progress toward each standard.

  1. If a course uses standards-based grading, teachers will communicate progress to students throughout the term using the Standards grades.   Please note that the final grade for the course will be the Traditional letter grade which may not appear until the end of the term.

To see term grade history, click Quick Links in the blue menu and choose Grade History

 

Teacher Comments

 
  1. To view Teacher Comments for a term, select the Teacher Comments button on the left hand side in the portal.
 



 

3.  Switch Reporting Term (T1,T2,T3,T4) to see teacher comments for each term.

 

 

How to Check Honor Roll

 
  1. Select Honor Roll at the bottom left of the next screen.

Note:  To be eligible for Honor Roll, students must maintain a full course load for the term, may not have any grade lower than a B-, nor have an incomplete grade.

How to Check GPA

  1. GPA is calculated based on earned credits in classes, and the most recent GPA calculation is listed under the Current Grades and Attendance matrix.

Description

GPA through the end of last term

Calculates GPA based on stored F1 grades that are used to award course credit.  This GPA also appears on transcripts.

 

HHS uses an unweighted GPA based on a 4.33 (A+) scale. 

 

 

Course Registration

 
  1.  Select Class Registration from the left navigation pane (see below)
 

 
  1. Choose courses from any edit button with a red vertical bar to the right.  Any courses with a green check mark to the right have already been pre-selected for the student.

 
  1. Select courses based on family choice or teacher recommendation (see below)
  1. Select checkbox
  2. Click Okay
 



 

4.  Repeat until all course groups have been selected.  Once completed click Submit.

Students will login to holliston.powerschool.com/public and select Student Sign In.  Then a prompt will appear for the students to enter their HPS student email address and password.
