Academic Levels

All graded courses at Holliston High School are assigned an academic level indicating the relative degree of demand and challenge. These levels help communicate the rigor of a student's coursework to colleges and universities. 

  • Advanced Placement courses

  • Honors courses

  • College Preparatory I courses

  • College Preparatory II courses

NCAA Criteria

Students who plan to participate in college athletics at the Division I or Division II level, or who hope to receive an athletic scholarship, must meet specific core course requirements. 

  1. Division I: 16 core courses 
  2. Division II: 14 core courses.

Admissions Standards to MA State Universities

To be eligible for admission, students will need to complete 4 courses of high school mathematics and one course must be completed during their senior year.
