This is the final call for social studies summer reading.  All students taking US and Modern World history should have passed in their summer reading project to their teacher.  Social Studies teachers will be in the corridor o the second floor during DSB today.


Student Emergency and Health forms were given out during Advisory last Friday.  They are due in the main office this FRIDAY.


The Sixth Annual Tim’s Trot will be on Saturday, October 1 at the High School.  It’s sure to be another day of fun and community as we gather to celebrate Tim along a 1.9 mile run or walk course.  Tim’s Trot t-shirts and goodie bags will be given to all participants  and Smitty’s ice cream will be served.  This year online registration is available for the first time.  Register by this Friday and the cost is just $20.  After that, registration will increase to $30 including day-of registration.


This year's Homecoming Dance is on Friday, September 30th from 7 - 10 PM. The cost to enter the dance is $10.00 at the door with a HHS student ID.  It's a jungle theme this year, so be creative, but please no masks.  See you there!


The school store will be open Wednesday and Thursday this week during the lunch block.  Cash and Check only.


If you are interested in working side by side with animals, then please come to Room 613 (Mr. White’s Room) for a brief meeting after school on Thursday, September 22nd.


The club and activity fair will take place on Thursday during DSB. Clubs will set up tables in the main hallway. 9th graders will be called down at the beginning of DSB.  Mr. Kelley is organizing this event so please contact him if you are interested in having a table at the fair.   


The first semester Open House is scheduled for this Thursday, September 22nd with Principal remarks in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m.   Students will be receiving blank schedules in their first block class Wednesday morning to complete and bring home for families. 


The fall schedule for WHHB has been sent to the school emails of all members who submitted a schedule form.  Please notify Jacob Peck of Jad Al-Assaad if there is a problem as soon as possible as shows start next Monday.


Over the next 2 weeks, you will be receiving a pass for senior seminar with your guidance counselor. Each senior seminar is made up of 2 sessions. Students must bring their own device to the seminars and should make sure they know how to access Naviance and their Common Application account. 


PSAT registration is now available online.  Registration and payment is due TODAY.  Please check the Guidance website, twitter feed or Facebook page for the link to the online registration form. 

Any student that has registered and paid for the PSAT can come to Guidance to pick up a PSAT booklet.
