Congratulations to all the students who auditioned for the Massachusetts Central District Music Festival this past weekend.  Ben Dooley was accepted to the District Jazz Band and Andrew Emmons, Sarah Kennedy, Maggie Martin, Megan Milligan and Yoshi Yamakawa  were selected to the chorus.


If you are interested in a fan bus for the football game Saturday, it will be $10 per person and must be paid at the time you sign up for the bus.  Anyone interested must be signed up in the main office by 2:00 p.m. Thursday, that’s tomorrow!  All students taking the fan bus will need a photo ID and must ride the bus there and back.


HOBY programs provide sophomores the opportunity to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences.  All Holliston Sophomore Students are invited to apply to attend the HOBY Youth Leadership Program to be held at Bentley University in Waltham in June.  Please see Mrs. Hogan in the Guidance Office.  Applications are due by Monday December 21, 2015. 


Theater 370 Proudly presents the fall musical “Into the Woods”.  Performances are Thursday, Nov. 19th, Friday, Nov. 20th and Saturday, Nov. 21st at 7:30 p.m.  There will also be a matinee under-study performance on Saturday at 2 p.m. 

Tickets are on sale 90 minutes prior to each performance at the door.  Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for students/Senior Citizens.  Tickets are also on sale at Fiske’s and Coffee Haven and will be sold in the lobby Tuesday and Thursday from 2-3 p.m.

All seating is general admission.  There will be no reserved seating.


There Is a Leo’s Club meeting Thursday, November 19th in the teacher’s cafeteria.


PTSA Ski & Snowboard Program forms are available in the main office.  Deadline is December 1, 2015.  This is not a school sponsored program.


There will be a mandatory meeting of the Model UN after school TODAY  in Mr. Zahner’s room.


Do you remember when Chris Herren came and spoke to Holliston High School about his story and struggle with drug abuse?  Well, we have started our own Holliston Chapter of his Project Purple Movement!  Our first meeting is TODAY at 2:15 in the Cafeteria.  Come for pizza, a raffle to win a Dunkin’ Donuts or Coffee Haven gift card and information.  We want to include you.

The 58th Annual Scholarship Awards Program is available to all graduating seniors. 

The scholarship includes an exam which consists of 30 “multiple choice” questions and one essay question with a response of 250-500 words.  The exam will be administered at Holliston High School on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.  If you are interested in taking the labor history exam on February 3rd, you must submit an application to the Guidance Department by Monday, December 11, 2015.

Attention “All Time Low” fans.  The Vision is giving away two tickets to the All Time Low concert on November 19th at the Tsongas Center in Lowell.  To be entered, leave a meaningful comment on one of the Vision’s five more recent articles.


Winter sports start November 30th.  Registration is now open.  Students interested in participating in winter sports must register online at the HHS website.  A current physical exam MUST be on file in the nurse’s office.  Registration, payments and physicals are due by Wednesday, November 18th.

Also, sign ups for ImPACT testing is also open.  ImPACT testing is for Ice hockey, basketball and wrestling only. 


Attention boys’ Soccer team:  There will be a brief meeting directly after school TODAY Room 323.  Please don’t forget to bring your uniform to return.
