DESTINATION IMAGINATION:


Congratulations to the two Holliston High School teams who have qualified for the Destination Imagination Global Finals!  Hazel Peters, Jenna Pralat, Maria Gentile, and Olivia Palmer won second place in the state competition in the improvisation challenge.  Ryan Cahill, Ariana Ameli, Abby Meltizer, and James Crews won first place for the improvisation challenge and second place for the service learning challenge.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Ultimate Frisbee practice is cancelled for today.

WANT TO PLAY

"I Want To Play Inc. is an organization that teaches social skills to children in developing countries through sports. Donation boxes are going to be placed in the school to collect gently used sports equipment. Cleats, shin guards, tennis rackets, tennis shoes and girls’ equipment in particular would be greatly appreciated." 

SOPHOMORE CLASS

We are happy to announce the Sophomore/Freshman Semi-Formal dance on April 8th from 6:30-10pm at the Glenn Ellen Country Club.  This is a fun night out for all freshman and sophomores with dancing, friends, and food!  We will be selling tickets TODAY during all lunches and end Thursday the31st. Tickets are $45.00.  Don’t miss out!

CLASS OF 2016

The senior class will be collecting in advance of prom ticket sales.  Contact PJ Donnelly with any questions about your outstanding dues.

LEO’S CLUB

There will be a Leo’s Club meeting this Thursday after school in the teacher’s cafeteria.

DROP-IN

Drop-in is open Thursday right after school in Room 405.  All are welcome!

ATTENTION HOLLISTON HIGH SCHOOL

Next month, freshman, sophomores and juniors will be voting to elect two student representatives from the Sophomore class for the State Student Advisory Regional Council for the 2016-17 school year.  The SSARC is a group of elected students throughout Massachusetts who are helping make decisions about state educational policy and student rights. 

Anyone in the class of 2018 interested in running for this position should see Mr. Bernstein in Room 619 by the end of the day Friday for information on the SARC and nomination forms."  

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB

The Environmental Club is hosting the bag2school fundraiser.  Bring in old clothes, shoes, handbags or jewelry and drop them off in one of the boxes by the main office, the town hall or town library.  By recycling your old items you can help limit landfill use.

FALL MUSICAL DVDs

DVDs of the Fall Musical, “Into the Woods” are available for purchase in the main office.  Come pick-up a copy.
