DRAMA

The Festival rehearsal today will end at 4:00 p.m.

PROJECT PURPLE

This week is addiction awareness week.  Members of the HHS Project Purple team are asking all students and staff to wear purple on Friday to support addiction awareness.

MUSIC

Congratulations to Ben Dooley and Yoshi Yawakawa for being selected to the Massachusetts All-State Music Festival.  Ben is in the Jazz Band and Yoshi is in the chorus.  They will perform in the All-State Concert at Symphony Hall in March.

LIBRARY

Due to ACCESS/ELL testing the library will be closed this week each day from 7:30-11:00.  Please don't send students down during those times, and there will be NO LIBRARY DSB.

Outside of the testing hours, the library will be open as usual.

FEBRUARY BIOLOGY MCAS

Students in Grade 9 who completed Biology during Semester 1 will be taking the MCAS Biology exam on Monday and Tuesday, February 1st and 2nd at 7:30 a.m. in the Cafeteria.  The names of students testing are listed no the posters outside the cafeteria and library doors.  Make sure you bring your own calculator for testing.

ARMY

A representative from the Army will be outside the cafeteria during all three lunches TODAY.

DROP-IN

Drop-In will be open Thursday, January 28th in Room  405.

LEO’S CLUB

There will be a Leo’s Club meeting this Thursday, January 28th in the teacher’s café right after school.

BIRTHDAY WISHES

Birthday Wishes is a non-profit organization that throws birthday parties for children of all ages in homeless shelters. They are in need of everything needed to throw a party including presents, themed plates and napkins, cake mix, and birthday banners. Please make sure that all of the items are new and unopened. There will be a bin outside of the cafeteria for donations throughout February and March. If you have any questions ask Emma Kenney.
