GRADUATION – MUSICAL AUDITIONS

Anyone interested in performing at graduation, auditions will be held TODAY at 2:15 in the band room.  Please come to the main office to sign up.

PROM

Students who plan on being dismissed early from school on the day of the Prom must pick up a Dismissal Permission Slip from the Main Office.  Permission Slips must be signed by a parent or guardian and are due in the Main Office no later than TOMORROW.

Prom table and bus seating will be posted throughout the week in the main lobby starting TODAY.   Anyone attending prom please check the roster in advance.

Reminders:

Students attending Prom – remember that you and your guest need to bring a photo ID with you the night of Prom.  

No backpacks, bags or containers will be allowed.  Only small purses and they will be subject to search prior to boarding the buses.

STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICER (SAC)

Any student who would like to run for one of the following positions:  Class Officer, Student Council Officer or a Student Advisory Council position, must fill out the required form on the Holliston High School web page.  Additionally, anyone running for a Class office position MUST turn in a speech to Mr. Quindley by Thursday, May 18th.  Speeches must be submitted via email @quindleyd@holliston.k12.ma.us. 

BOOK DRIVE

Have any new or gently used books?  Drop them off in the collection box in the library.  They will be donated to a local early literacy program.  We are preferably looking for books for ages 0-5.

Attention Grade 10 Students:  the MCAS Math exam will be held TODAY and Wednesday, May 17.  Please check the posters outside the café and library for your testing location.  Remember to bring your own calculator on Wednesday.

TO ALL ART SAVES LIVES PARTICIPANTS:

You must come to Mr. Lack in order to get a permission slip (signed by a parent/guardian) and your pass for the day of Art Saves Lives… (This pass must be on your person the day of Art Saves Lives).  You MUST do this as soon as possible before May 18th… That is the day of Art Saves Lives!  You must also get your shirt before the day of Art Saves Lives… Thanks for everyone’s cooperation!

LOBBY HOURS

Administration will be holding Lobby hours from 2:15-3:00 pm on TODAY.  This is an opportunity for students and staff to stop by and chat with members of the administrative team. Hope to see you this afternoon!

LIBRARY

The library will be closed during DSB and Lunch today.

SENIORS

Picnic

The senior class picnic will be held tomorrow in the cafeteria at 1:00 p.m.   Yearbooks will be handed out to all seniors at that time!

Exams

Senior Exams are being held Thursday, May 25th and Friday, May 26th.  This is a reminder that we have a modified bell schedule with no Advisory.

Exams

Senior Exams are being held Thursday, May 25th and Friday, May 26th.  This is a reminder that we have a modified bell schedule with no Advisory.

Obligations

Come join NHS this Sunday, May 21st from 10-2 for our First Annual ALS fun run/5K!  We are raising money for the ALS Association and would like everyone’s support.  Hope to see you there!

The Beautiful Mind Campaign will be hosting a fun meeting after school on Thursday, May 11th in Mrs. Frost’s Room, 603.  All are welcome!
