CONGRATULATIONS!


Congratulations to Renee Torio for being accepted to the 2018 All-National Chorus!  The festival will take place in November in Florida. Renee is the first Holliston student to earn this Honor!

WORLD CUP


This Thursday, June 14th marks the start of the world’s most watched sporting competition, the World Cup.  Wear soccer shirts or shirts that celebrate national pride, whether you’re supporting Egypt, Mexico, Ghana, Japan, or giants like Brazil and Germany.

CLASS OF 2021


Come to the new Chipotle in Milford on Saturday, June 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to support the Holliston Class of 2021. Fifty percent of your purchases go towards the Class of 2021.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing boys soccer in the fall on Tuesday, June  12th at 2:30 in Coach Levasseur’s room, Room 323.


GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD

In the past couple of weeks the Holliston girls track and field team had some amazing performances at the division 3 state championship meet and the all state meet.


-Becca Stevens placed first in high jump at the state meet and she placed 7th at All-States. She also qualified for Nationals in North Carolina


-Bella Bergloff placed 2nd in discus shattering the school record with a throw of 126'3. At All states she broke her own school record and placed 2nd with a throw of 128’3 and will be moving onto New England’s. Bella also qualified for Nationals.


-Brooke Geoffroy placed 6th in the girls High Jump.


-Caroline Ward placed 6th in the girls triple jump beating her best jump of the season with a distance of 35’4.25” at the state meet


-Emma Sayers placed 9th overall in the girls 400 meter race and Gwen Freeley placed 15th overall in the girls’ 400 meter race at the state meet as well.


-The girls’ 4x400 meter relay placed 8th overall at states with their best time of the season which was 4:16.50. This team included Gwen Freeley, Sophia Engel, Mikaela Savage, and Emma Sayers.


Congrats to the Holliston Girls Outdoor track team on an amazing season and good luck to those who are still competing!!

MCAS


All students who took Biology second semester will be taking the MCAS Biology exam on Wednesday, June 6 and Thursday, June 7, please see posters outside the library and cafeteria for testing information


ULTIMATE FRISBEE


Congratulations to the Ultimate Frisbee team who upset #3 seed Harvard and #6 seed Nashoba to earn 4th place at the State Championships on Saturday!  Great Job Holliston Ultimate!

SENIOR PICNIC


Wednesday is the Senior Picnic at 1:00 in the cafeteria. Seniors will receive their yearbooks and have a chance to eat some good food and celebrate their accomplishments with each other. In order to prepare for the picnic, lunches have been combined into first and second. If you normally take third lunch, please check in with your teacher to see which lunch you will be going to on Wednesday.


MCAS


All Grade 10 students will take the MCAS Mathematics exam on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24.


Please see the posters outside the cafeteria and library for your testing location.


Any questions, please come to the main office.
