LIBRARY

Library will be closed during DSB and lunch today.

COURSE RECOMMENDATIONS

Course Recommendation Sheets were due on March 20th. Please make sure you return the form to Guidance today.

MUSIC

Congratulations to the students in the music department for two very successful concerts this weekend. The ensembles and all the soloists did a superb job in all respects. 

ATTENTION ALL

Be sure to watch Channel 5's A+ Student story on our own Kit Wen Tuesday night at 5:40 pm on Channel 5.  Also be sure to check out the early morning shout-out featuring HHS students and staff between 5 and 6 am on Channel 5!

VANS SNEAKERS DESIGN

There are mandatory meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday after school in Mr. Shiff’s room for Vans Sneakers Design Team.  Please send Mr. Shiff an email or speak with him directly if you are unable to attend.

If you are playing a sport, you need to have an up-to-date physical on file in order to participate.  Please see Mrs. Coleman if you have any issues or questions.

Art-Vans Sneakers Design

There is a mandatory meeting for all members of the Vans Sneaker Design Team in Mr. Shiff’s Room this afternoon. 

LOBBY HOURS

Administration will be holding Lobby hours from 2:15-3:00 pm on TODAY.  This is an opportunity for students and staff to stop by and chat with members of the administrative team. Hope to see you this afternoon!

There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing soccer in the Fall on Thursday March 16th in Room 512 at 3:00.

The Weight Room will be open tomorrow from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

ART

We are pleased to announce that the following students have earned National Silver Medals in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2017.  Elena Daly and Juliette Plante have been identified by panels of creative professionals as the most talented young artists in the nation. This year, more than 330,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Only the top 1% was recognized at the national level.

DESTINATION IMAGINATION

A big day for DI at yesterday's Regional Tournament! We had 6 HHS teams place and one team qualify for the State Tournament at WPI on April 1.

The 1st place winning team includes the following HHS 9th graders:

 ROBOTICS

Congratulations to the Robotics team for becoming semifinalists at the WPI First Robotics Competition last Friday. The Robopanthers were invited to join the blue alliance with Team Phoenix from Nashua, New Hampshire and the Stem Whalers from New London, CT.

The Holliston Robopanthers was chosen for the blue alliance because of their robot’s ability to climb in record time.

Attention Freshman and Band and Chorus members there will be Mandatory Scheduling Meeting during DSB today
Today during DSB all Freshman and Sophomore and Junior Band and Chorus members should report to the Auditorium at the start of DSB. During this meeting you will receive your Course Recommendation Sheet and an overview of the scheduling process for next year. Course Recommendation Sheets will be due on Monday March 20th.

 Library
 Due to the College Fair, there will be NO DSB in the Library today.  There will be no lunch in the library today.   Also, the library will be closed after school today.

Any students who met the prerequisite for potential acceptance into the NHS should check their school emails for an invitation to submit a portfolio. If there are any questions, please see Mrs. Murphy in Room 302

BEST BUDDIES
This week the Best buddies club would like to bring attention to spread the word to end the word and encourage everyone to stop using the R-word and invite others to do the same. We can all make a difference. Take the pledge today!
