PARKING PASSES


If you completed a form for a Parking Pass, your pass is now ready in the Main Office for collection. Please make sure that your parking pass is displayed clearly and that you are parked in the Student lot NOT the Staff parking lot. If you do not have a valid current parking pass please pickup a blue form from the office.

 

CLASS OF 2020

 

Attention Seniors!  The senior class picture will take place TODAY on the grass in front of the turf field during DSB. An announcement will be made.  Don’t forget to wear your step-up day t-shirt. The sooner the picture is taken, the sooner you can leave for your senior privileges.

Representatives are coming to DSB beginning this week daily until November! Please go into Naviance and register to meet with representatives under the College VIsits section. The yearbook club will be meeting on Tuesday the 17th to start planning this year's book.  If you are interested in being a part of creating the 2020 yearbook, please come to the meeting after school in room 605.

Reminder, there will be a Captain's Council meeting TODAY in the auditorium during DSB.  Captains from all seasons are expected to attend. Please see Mr. Baker with any questions.

PICTURE MAKEUPS

 

For those students and staff who did not have their photo ID pictures taken last week, Henry Studios will be here on Friday September 13th at 8:00 in the Library.  Pictures are used for the yearbook as well as IDs.

CAFETERIA


The School Lunch Department is excited to announce a new option for our students.  We have begun the service of homemade fresh pizza every day except Wednesday from Line 2 in the cafe.  We will have cheese and pepperoni serviced with oven baked fries as well as an ever changing specialty option.  Give it a try!


THEATRE 370


Hi Everyone!


The first auditions for theatre are starting next week!  If you are interested in trying out and want to know what the process will be like, stop in at one of the rehearsal workshops TODAY.  We hope to see you there!

ROBOTICS


Robotics will be meeting in Room 314 on Wednesday, September 4th after school, new and current members are welcome.  No prior experience needed to join.

CLASS OF 2020


Any Class of 2020 student that hasn’t paid for their class T-shirt yet, please see one of the class officers as soon as possible.  T-Shirts are $15 and can be paid either by cash or check.


FOUNDATIONS


We are collecting new socks for the homeless.  Please consider donating to the drive. Boxes can be found outside of the office.


LIBRARY


Do you have any AP test prep books lying around that you never want to see again?  Please consider donating them to the school library so that another student can use it.  Thank you.


AP PHYSICS 1


Please go to Room 313 to pick up your Summer Work Packet.  Thank you and have P- H- phun.


AP LANGUAGE AND COMPOSITION


Any student taking AP Language and Composition next year, please refer to the HHS website for summer work.  Copies of the summer assignment are also available in Mr. Bailey's room 302 and Mrs. Frost's room 603.


AP CHEMISTRY


Any students taking AP Chemistry next year should stop by Mrs. Rivera’s room, Room 325, sometime this week to sign out a textbook and get a copy of the summer work assignment.


AP BIOLOGY


Anyone taking AP Biology next year, please stop by Mr. Levasseur's classroom (Room 323) and pick up the summer work by the end of the week.  


AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE


Anyone taking AP Environmental Science, please stop by Mrs. Co’s Room, 327 Mr. Marsh’s Room, 321 to pick up Summer Work.


ART 1 HONORS


Mr. Shiff would like to remind all Art I Honors students to bring in their portfolio to collect their exhibited Art Saves Lives work and to stop by his classroom because he has more of your artwork to give back.


ART ELECTIVES


This is a reminder to all Art Elective students that have had Mr. Shiff that he presently has your artwork.  Please stop by and pick it up.
