PEP RALLY

 

Tomorrow is a half day for students.  The pep rally will begin at 10:00 a.m. and students will be called down at 9:40 p.m..  All students are to attend and stand in the bleachers with their grade.

 

Each class has a different color that they wear: 9th graders wear gray (decorated advisory t-shirt), 10th graders wear white, 11th graders wear black and 12th graders wear red. Students should wear their color t-shirts to school to represent the school spirit we continue to foster here at HHS.

 

Students will be dismissed at the end of the Pep Rally and buses are scheduled to depart the high school at 10:50am.

 

TECH & HAND INNOVATORS CLUB


Tech & Hand Innovators Club will be meeting after school in Room 311, the computer lab.  Please see Mr. Shiff for more details.


GIMME SHELTER COFFEEHOUSE


Come out Wednesday, November 28th, to the Gimme Shelter Coffeehouse, here in the HHS Foyer. Admission is free. Live music performances by HHS students and alumni will start at 7 pm. Food and drinks will be provided by The Beautiful Minds Campaign. All proceeds and donations will benefit the Y2Y Shelter in Cambridge, MA. If you would like to participate in any part of this event contact Kate Guccione or Doug Calais."

SPIRIT WEEK


This week is spirit week!  


Tomorrow is decades day.


Freshman and sophomores wear 80s and juniors and seniors wear 90s.


Wednesday each class will wear their class colors.

METROWEST ADOLESCENT HEALTH SURVEY


The Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey will be administered (as it is every two years) at the end of second block TODAY. Students will remain in their second block classes to take the survey and the bell schedule has been adjusted to allow for a longer DSB administration. Second block will end at 9:56 so that students will have a quick break before taking the survey at 10:00 am.


Band and chorus students will stay with their second block classes to take the survey.


ATTENTION FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORES


If you are interested in running for the Student Advisory Council for this school year, see Mr. Bernstein in Room 619 by the end of the day TODAY.  Each grade will elect up to four representatives."

FAN BUS


Anyone interested in taking a fan bus to tonight's boys soccer game in Norwell needs to sign up and bring $10 to the main office by the end of DSB.  A decision on whether or not the bus will be running tonight will be made then.

CROSS-COUNTRY


Congratulations to the boys and girls cross-country teams on finishing 9th and 6th in the Eastern Mass Division 4 race this past weekend.  A special congratulations to Freshman Kate Currie on qualifying for the All-State meet this Sunday in Westfield.

Yearbook will be meeting today after school in Room 605.


TECH & HAND INNOVATOR’S CLUB

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2019


There will be a mandatory Class meeting TODAY during DSB.  All seniors are required to attend.  At this time you will be filling out your cap and gown and diploma information Please report to your respective DSB and you will be called down at 10:15.  


LIBRARY


This afternoon in the library everyone is welcome to see a Free movie and have some treats.  Come see Tim Burton’s stop-motion animation classic FRANKENWEENIE. This is part of the library’s celeration of the 200th anniversary of Frankenstein.
