Senior Events Behavior Expectations
In past years, some seniors have engaged in destructive acts or pranks to celebrate their last weeks in school. Please be aware that anyone who vandalizes school grounds or facilities will be charged with destruction of property, face disciplinary action, and forfeit the privilege of participating in graduation exercises. Students found to be involved in any other actions(s) deemed to be in violation of the school discipline policies may forfeit their opportunity to participate in any or all of the activities planned during the calendar of events for seniors, including the graduation ceremony. With the complete cooperation of each student, the graduation exercises will be a positive and memorable experience for all. For the graduation ceremony, students must dress appropriately with their caps and gowns. No signs, messages, decals, or other decorations are allowed on caps and gowns, with the exception of awards presented by the school.ObligationsAll outstanding obligations, including lost texts, missing library books, overdue activity fees, class dues, cafeteria charges, sports uniforms, etc. must be reconciled before a student can participate in the graduation ceremony. A list is available in the Main Office of all outstanding obligations. Students will NOT be issued a cap and gown if he/she still has an obligation due.
